These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Nanopost platform, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated at nanopost.xyz. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using Nanopost you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Nanopost is an AI-powered social media content automation platform that allows businesses and creators to monitor competitor content, generate on-brand content using artificial intelligence, review that content in a human-in-the-loop queue, and publish approved content to connected social media accounts. Connected platforms currently include or are planned to include Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Human approval is mandatory. No content is ever published to any connected account without an explicit, deliberate approval action by an authorized user. Nanopost does not auto-publish content.
Nanopost publishes content to social media platforms through official platform APIs using OAuth 2.0 authorization flows. By connecting a social media account you:
Nanopost integrates with TikTok exclusively through the official TikTok Content Posting API and Login Kit. No unofficial access methods, scraping, automation tools, or credential sharing are ever used. The integration allows you to: (a) connect your TikTok account to Nanopost using TikTok's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow; (b) generate content within Nanopost's platform using AI; (c) review and explicitly approve that content; and (d) publish approved content to your TikTok account using TikTok's official API. Nanopost never accesses your TikTok password and never acts on your account without an explicit human approval action on each individual post.
When connecting a TikTok account, Nanopost requests only the following minimum necessary permissions:
We do not request access to your inbox, comments, followers, following list, analytics, or any data beyond what is strictly necessary to authenticate your account and publish content you approve. If TikTok adds or changes scope requirements, we will update our app and notify you before requesting any new permissions.
Nanopost collects and stores the following TikTok-derived data, and only this data:
This data is used solely to operate the connection and publish content you have approved. It is never sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, used for profiling, or used for any purpose other than providing the features you have requested. TikTok data is not combined with data from other sources to build user profiles.
Deletion: When you disconnect your TikTok account from Nanopost (via Settings → Connections → Disconnect, or by revoking access in TikTok's app), your access token, refresh token, and account identifier are permanently deleted from our systems within 24 hours. You may also request deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@nanopost.xyz.
Retention: We do not retain TikTok data after the connection is removed. Published post records (caption text and image URLs stored in our own infrastructure) may be retained in your publishing history, but these do not include TikTok credentials or TikTok platform data.
You are solely responsible for all content you choose to publish to TikTok through Nanopost. You represent and warrant that:
Nanopost does not pre-screen content for TikTok policy compliance and makes no warranty that approved content will be accepted or remain live on TikTok. TikTok may independently remove, restrict, or penalize content at its sole discretion.
While Nanopost's TikTok integration is pending TikTok's platform review, posts published through the integration may have restricted visibility (for example, visible only to the account owner) as required by TikTok's sandbox policy for unreviewed apps. This is a TikTok platform requirement, not a Nanopost limitation. We will notify you of changes to visibility status as our review progresses, and update the integration immediately upon review approval so that posts publish publicly as you intend.
You can disconnect your TikTok account from Nanopost at any time by going to Settings → Connections → Disconnect on TikTok. You can also revoke access directly in the TikTok app under Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Connected Apps. Either action immediately revokes Nanopost's ability to publish on your behalf, and we will delete the associated credentials as described in Section 5.3.
Your use of TikTok through Nanopost is additionally governed by:
Nanopost integrates with Instagram through the official Instagram Graph API using Instagram Business Login. By connecting an Instagram Business or Creator account you authorize Nanopost to publish photo and carousel posts to your account after your explicit approval. Your use of Instagram through Nanopost is additionally governed by the Instagram Terms of Use, Meta Platform Terms, and Meta Platform Policy. Nanopost's use of data received from Meta's platforms adheres to Meta's Platform Terms, including any limited data use requirements.
Nanopost integrates with LinkedIn through the official LinkedIn API. By connecting a LinkedIn personal profile or Company Page you authorize Nanopost to publish approved content to that profile or page on your behalf. Your use of LinkedIn through Nanopost is additionally governed by the LinkedIn User Agreement and the LinkedIn API Terms of Use.
You agree not to use Nanopost to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user we reasonably determine is violating these standards, without prior notice where immediate action is required to protect the Service or third parties.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to or generate through Nanopost, including brand assets, uploaded documents, captions, and AI-generated outputs. You grant Nanopost a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service on your behalf. This license terminates when you delete the content or close your account.
Nanopost retrieves publicly available content from third-party social media accounts for analysis and content inspiration as directed by you. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any derived insights complies with applicable copyright, trademark, and platform terms. AI-generated content produced by Nanopost is intended to be materially distinct from any source material.
All Nanopost software, branding, user interfaces, and proprietary technology remain the property of the Operator. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, service marks, logos, or other proprietary designations.
Nanopost uses third-party AI services — including OpenAI (text and image generation) and xAI Grok (trend analysis) — to produce content suggestions. AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, unintended material, or content that requires editing before publication.
You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it to any platform. Nanopost's mandatory human review step means content is never auto-published — but the act of approving content is yours, and the responsibility for what is published rests with you. Nanopost makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, originality, legality, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information, including data received from connected third-party platforms. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal data or the data received from any connected platform API to third parties. Platform data (including any data received from TikTok, Meta, or LinkedIn APIs) is used solely to provide the features you have requested and is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the Service.
Nanopost may charge subscription fees or usage-based fees for access to certain features of the Service. Current pricing is displayed in-app and on our pricing page. Fees are charged in advance for subscription periods. You are responsible for all fees incurred under your account. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion, except where required by applicable law.
We aim to provide reliable, high-availability access to the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and APIs (including TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, OpenAI, and cloud hosting providers) that may experience outages or policy changes outside our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from such interruptions or third-party service changes.
You may close your account at any time by contacting hi@nanopost.xyz. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately and without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive or fraudulent behavior, or pose a security risk to us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion following termination is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, original, or free from errors. Reliance on AI-generated content for any purpose is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, reputational harm, or costs of substitute services, arising from or related to your use of the Service, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and any affiliates, employees, or contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your content or the content you publish through the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party, including any connected platform's terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the law, or the platforms we integrate with. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice by email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any disputes arising under or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
